Hello, I’m ShindaHotaru or Hota for short. This website showcases a selection of my creations such as illustrations and comics. Most of them are in a children-book-y style and are extracts from inspiring themes such as Nature, bugs, frogs, plants, space or simple sceneries. Tausendschön Bremen März
Tausendschön is an arts and crafts fair in the halls of the Großmarkt Bremen. Artisans from various fields sell their goods: Jewellry, clothing, home goods, interior decor and so much more!
You can find me in hall B. With all my prints, buttons, postcards, comics and pins! New stuff such as riddles and colourful wooden pins!
Hamburger Zinefest
This particular art fair specialise in print media and especially in zines. Each art will at least offer one at their booths — a colourful assortment of using this medium!
As usual I will bring my prints, postcards and also some stickers and pins, but I will also create zines for this occasion. Stay tuned for more infos!
Ghosts have lives, too, mind you.
These two panel comics are about a Ghost and their various situation in life that present surprises, strangeness or funny encounters. Each message or plot is told in only two panels and mostly greyscale. Some comics are about very basic experiences, others draw inspiration from disorders such as depression or ADHD while others spread awareness on bacteria. And some just want to make the reader smile.
Ghosts come in many shades, professions and personalities!
